Newquay Towan Blystra Lions Club were delighted to welcome a new member at their meeting in the Griffin Inn on Thursday 24 November.
Jay Anson, was presented with his certificate of membership by Lion President Jill Bunt who added her congratulations to Jay who had already supported the club at Lions events like Newquay Beer Festival during previous months. Jill said: “It’s great to have Jay on board and we are always keen to hear from others who would like to offer just a few hours of their time each month to supporting the community through Lions Clubs International.”
Lion Lesley Baize, Jay’s sponsor, presented Jay with his membership badge & club shirt. . President Jill Bunt welcoming jay into the club presenting him with his certificate of membership.
