Newquay Lions were assisted by Towan Blystra Lions with their Jubilee Parade. There were 7 floats each commemorating the seven decades of our Monarchs reign. Newquay Lions president, Dennis Arthbutnott rode in a classic MG sports car provided by the Classic MG Club. The sun came out just as Lion Alan Oatey predicted. Towan Blystra Lions marshalling were Phil & Jill Bunt (president) “B” Leslie & Danny Baize, Alan Oatey & Colin Wellington.
