A message from our Club President – Lion Jill Bunt
As did so many others across the World, I learnt of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II yesterday with great sadness. I felt it appropriate to acknowledge, on behalf of members of our club, the strong element of service which was the hallmark of Her Majesty’s reign over more than 70 years and the inspiration that this has given so many others, especially members of Lions Clubs International, whose own motto is “We Serve”. Rest In Peace, Your Majesty.
