Lion Heather Stanley braves the wind and the rain, selling the entrance tickets at the event
Members of Newquay Towan Blystra Lions Club recently assisted Cornwall Air Ambulance, during a special fundraising event.
The “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” event took place at the Treloy site of Newquay Airport, and saw displays from emergency services, as well as classic and collectible cars, planes and much more besides.
The Lions provided help as marshals, collecting money on the gate and helping control the car parking.
Despite the weather, the event was a great success and saw hundreds of people attend.
