Members of Newquay Towan Blystra Lions Club assisted members of Newquay in Bloom recently, to help beautify the town ahead of the judging for a major competition.
Voluntary members of Newquay in Bloom were refreshing all the flowerbeds in the town, ahead of a South West in Bloom judge visiting the following day to look around the town, and decided if it deserves an award.
Lions Andy Hannan, Lesley Clarke and Ken Clarke among others helped throughout the day.
