Wow! Despite how busy he is, Santa has said he will help Towan Blystra Lions by touring the streets of Newquay in his sleigh for eleven nights, bringing a bit of festive cheer to residents and children as he passes their front doors.
A small number of socially distanced Lions members will be walking alongside accepting letters for Santa and collecting any spare cash which will go towards supporting local good causes. Keep an eye out for the Santa’s unique two-metre long ‘Elf Collection Devices’ which will ensure a special Santa ‘Ho, Ho, Ho’ if you are kind enough to drop some coins in them.
This year, Santa won’t be able to stop and speak to everyone he would like to as he needs to keep the sleigh COVID safe, but he will be travelling really slowly past as many homes as possible to provide some much needed yuletide cheer. You should be able to hear him coming – listen for bells and Christmas songs.

Tues 15th PENTIRE (2): including Chynance Drive, Trethewey Way, Anthony Road, Chiverton Close, Reeds Way, Tregunnel Hill – Duchy homes.
