Lions to be at Royal Cornwall Show by Phil Bunt | Feb 18, 2020 | News | 0 comments Newquay Towan Blystra Lions will be one of the Cornish Lions clubs supporting this year’s diabetes awareness stand at the Royal Cornwall Show from Thurs 4-Sat 6 June 2020. With the help of supporters and sponsors, this has been an annual event attended by the Lions for over 30 years and volunteer nurses, paramedics and others medically trained regularly test around 1,500 people with around 10% normally being advised to consider speaking to their GP about the reading taken on the day. If you would like to be a sponsor this year, for as little as £50, you can do so and have your name displayed at the event tent.
