Lions Dean Cook and Phil Bunt at the Newquay Sports Centre event
Members of Newquay Towan Blystra Lions helped out at two local community fireworks events, which raised money for important local charities.
Volunteer Lions acted as marshalls at the Newquay Sports Centre Fireworks event, which raised cash for Cornwall Hospice Care on Saturday, 3 November.
They then joined members of Newquay Lions at Porth Beach on Monday 5 November, for the annual Mermaid Inn display which saw thousands of people line the beach and cliff tops.
The money collected at the free event will be split between Newquay Lions, and the Joe Way Appeal. In turn, the latter will donate their half to Cornwall Hospice Care, and CLIC Sargent.
