ing both bark and dung. Some of the older members of the group were also assisting customers with loading their cars.
Newquay in Bloom were not only very grateful for the assistance of the group but were also incredibly generous supplying the Leos with tea/ coffee, cake and even gave them a hot pasty each.
The Leos managed to clear all the bark and then went on to assist other members and volunteers with bagging the dung.
During the day the Leos also earned 3 hours to put towards their Young Leaders in Service Award.
Leo Adviser Jodie was on hand all day to supervise the Leos and said “They were all amazing, they all behaved amazingly and didn’t complain at all. They were working really well as a team and with others who most of them had never met before. They didn’t even moan when I got them dealing with the dung, although, there was an incident with a worm”.
