Lions Phil and Jill Bunt took the opportunity, on their holiday travels, to spend some time at Shirley Beer Festival in the Midlands which is run by Shirley Round Table and Ladies Circle clubs. The visit had been arranged with the organisers as a fact-finder for NTBL’s Newquay Beer Festival and the pair were made to feel very welcome and shown around over the couple of days they were there. The event itself has been running for 11 years and is, therefore, of similar age to Newquay’s event which will see its 10th anniversary in September this year.
