The fundraising and social side of being Lions has another dimension too – keeping things tidy! Six members of Newquay Towan Blystra Lions turned out on a roasting hot Bank Holiday weekend Saturday to do some much needed housekeeping of their two containers in which their fundraising paraphernalia is kept, and also to try out for the first time a ‘wheel of fortune’ which they were donated during COVID and will be making its first appearance at Trenance Cottages ‘Fun in the Park’ on Sunday 11 June. Come along and have a go to help the Lions and Trenance Cottages raise some funds to support their causes.
