Newquay Towan Blystra Lions President Heather Stanley and Lions Phil Bunt and Colin Wellington attended the St Newlyn East Fair on Bank Holiday Monday with their “Cube” which contained a new iPad to be won for the princely sum of £1 but, you had to guess the combination of the cube and open the door to achieve this. It wasn’t the busiest of days and we still have the iPad locked away for the next time. At least we had flown the flag for the Lions and interacted with some of the people attending. It’s not all about how much, but getting our club noticed is a massive advantage to us. Along with the presence of the Cube, Santa’s sleigh (minus Santa!)was used in the carnival procession, again getting us noticed.
