Newquay Beer Festival 2024: Another Great Success!
Newquay Towan Blystra Lions are thrilled to announce that the 11th Newquay Beer Festival was yet another success, raising thousands of pounds for local good causes. Held over the weekend of 20-22 September, the festival brought together beer enthusiasts, locals, and visitors from across the country to enjoy a celebration of fantastic brews, live music, and community spirit.
With 100 beers and ciders on offer from some of the finest breweries in the country, festival-goers were spoilt for choice. The lively atmosphere was made even better by a fantastic lineup of local bands, creating an unforgettable weekend of entertainment in the heart of Cornwall.
Other Lions clubs from the district joined in helping serve the beers and ciders and some of them can be seen in the photos.
This year, they were once again overwhelmed by the generous support of our sponsors, who made the event possible. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Hendra Holiday Park who once again hosted us, the numerous musicians who played free of charge and all our amazing sponsors for their incredible contributions. Their support, along with the efforts of countless volunteers who gave their time freely, has helped us raise vital funds that will directly benefit numerous local charities and initiatives.
