Newquay Towan Blystra Lions were amongst the groups that provided the finance to Rialton Community Association for them to buy and have installed a defibrillator on the outside of the Community Hall. Newquay Rotary and the other Lions Club in the town, Newquay Lions, who had both donated, were also invited to the unveiling of the life-saving piece of equipment by Newquay Mayor, Cllr Margaret North.
Cllr North congratulated the members of the Community Association for all their “hard work and effort” in achieving the finance for the project and thanked all who had donated.
