Newquay Towan Blystra Lions were given a very important job, when they had to escort a very important person through the streets of Newquay at the weekend.
In an event organised by the Friends of Trenance Cottages, Santa arrived at Newquay Train Station, on the 10:10am service, and was greeted by crowds including a choir of children from St Columb Minor School.
He then boarded the Newquay Towan Blystra Lions sleigh, where he was escorted by a group of Lions through the streets of the resort, finishing at his grotto at the Cottages in Trenance Gardens.
