Lions assist donation to RNLI

When a kind local resident wanted to donate ten boxes of good quality collectable items from a house clearance to the RNLI, Newquay Towan Blystra Lions were delighted to help collect and deliver the donation to the local RNLI depot using the club’s van. Lion Jill Bunt, who is also a fund raiser with Newquay RNLI, said: “Our small van is always available to help in charitable circumstances and, of course, we always make good use of it ourselves in getting equipment to and from fund raising events like Newquay Beer Festival.”
