Newquay Towan Blystra Lions Try Their Hand at Bowling
The Newquay Towan Blystra Lions took a well-earned break from fundraising recently and swapped collection buckets for bowling woods!
We were warmly hosted by West End Bowling Club members Simon Fernley, Alan Thain, and Sally Williams, who kindly showed us the ropes and guided us throughout our games. There was no overall winner, but that didn’t matter — everyone had a fantastic time, and we all agreed we’d love to do it again.
The bowling green overlooked the sparkling waters of Newquay Bay, and with the sun shining down, it was hard to imagine a more perfect afternoon.
Taking part were NTBL President Jon, Lions Leslie, Danny, Jill, Phil, Colin, B, Chris, Elke, Tony, Jed, Kevin, and NTBL friend Jill.
