It’s been a great 2024. Thanks to so many people from the community who supported our 30+ Lions members in raising thousands of pounds for local good causes and served the community in many other ways.
We are delighted to be able to confirm that our signature events and the return of an old favourite will be taking place in 2025 and these include:
Giant Easter Egg Raffle in pubs around the area
Joe Way Paddle For Life at Newquay Harbour (Thurs 26 June)
Brains of Newquay Charity Giveaway Quiz at Newquay Golf Club (Sunday 5 July)
Newquay Beer Festival at Hendra Holiday Park (Fri 19 – Sun 21 September)
Community Christmas Lunch (date TBC)
Santa Sleigh Tour of the Town

Don’t forget, Newquay Towan Blystra Lions Club is a very friendly and inclusive group of men and women from around Newquay and further afield who give whatever time they have available to help others. We are part of Lions Clubs International which was established in 1919 and now has 1.4 million Lions spread across some 48,000 clubs in over 200 countries of the World.
We enjoy each others company and also share social time together during the year. In particular, if you happen to be new to the area, it’s a great way to meet friends and contribute to the community you have joined.
