Lions Support Children’s Hospice South West Rainbow Run
Members of the Newquay Towan Blystra Lions clubs and Truro Lions volunteered to help marshal the Children’s Hospice South West Annual Rainbow Run held at RAF St Mawgan.
The event attracted over 1,400 participants who enjoyed a colourful and fun-filled day while raising vital funds for Children’s Hospice South West.
Pictured are Phil, Jill, Mark Sarah and Matt C who braved the colours and actually did the run, from Towan Blystra Lions, with Jill taking her traffic-directing duties very seriously to help keep the event running smoothly. Also pictured are members of Truro Lions, apparently making their way to a picnic – although they assure us they were hard at work supporting the event!
The Lions were delighted to assist with the organisation of another successful Rainbow Run and to support the invaluable work carried out by Children’s Hospice South West.
